When can I check in?
You can check in at the Hotel Bell Tent reception from 2pm on the day of check-in
Check-out is 11am on the day of departure.
Please bring your booking confirmation and photo ID for check-in.
What are the reception opening hours?
Normal reception opening hours are 7am-11pm, but may vary. When reception is closed, there will be a 24-hour point of contact for use in emergencies.
Where is Hotel Bell Tent at the Isle of Man TT located?
Hotel Bell Tent will be located at Ballakermeen High School in the Heart of Douglas.
I'm travelling by bike. What are the parking arrangements?
There is ample parking space available for bikes (don't forget your chain!).
Can I bring more people to stay in my tent?
Only the advertised number of people for your tent size can stay in the accommodation.
Will there be security?
Hotel Bell Tent will have a dedicated 24/7 security presence allowing only wrist banded guests to enter the Hotel Bell Tent area.
As always, Hotel Bell Tent can not be liable for lost or stolen items. We advise all guests against bringing unnecessary valuable items to the event and having handbags or purses on visual display in their tent.
Will there be food and drink on site?
Hot or cold breakfasts will be available to purchase daily from 7am - 9am in the state of the art school canteen.
What essential items should I bring?
We highly recommend you bring a torch, lots of layers for when the sun goes down, plenty of warm bedding (if you’re bringing your own) and cosy pyjamas. Bringing an extra blanket is always a good idea just in case the night times are a little cooler.
What about toilets, showers and pamper areas?
There are plentiful indoor toilets, lovely hot showers and changing areas available with plug points – all housed indoors within the school with 24 hour access.
Will there be power in my accommodation?
Power will not be supplied in accommodation but charging points will be available in the reception area.
Will there be parking?
There is ample parking space available for your bikes (don't forget your chain!). The parking facilities will be covered by CCTV.
What’s this about a cinema room?
There will be a cinema room open in the evenings showing the nail biting ITV4 TT highlights as well as motorsport films and documentaries.
Will WiFi be available?
Guest will be able to access WIFI free of charge from the reception area. Please note that due to legal restrictions on school internet, there are some website limitations.
Will drinking water be available?
Drinking water can be found in the school building.
Are there any restrictions on site?
As Ballakermeen is a school site we cannot permit the consumption of alcohol or the smoking of cigarettes on site. However, we are just a ten-minute walk, or taxi ride costing just £4, to the centre of Douglas which has a vibrant nightlife during the TT weeks.
Barbeques, camping stoves and campfires are also prohibited.
Will our event tickets be included in the price of the accommodation?
No event tickets are included in your Accommodation booking.
