The long road FAQs
When can I check in?
You can check in at the Hotel Bell Tent reception located across the road from the Glamping Car Park from 11am on Friday when gates open. Check out is by 12pm on Monday and the car park closes at 1pm. Please bring photo ID and a copy of your booking confirmation for check in.
What are the reception opening hours?
Reception will be open between 11am and midnight on Friday. Saturday & Sunday opening hours are between 8am -12pm, 4pm -8pm. When reception is closed, a 24-hour point of contact will be available for use in emergencies.
I'm travelling by car. What are the parking arrangements?
Please follow directional signage for glamping parking. We recommend booking a car park pass in advance from the festival’s ticket page.
Can I bring more people to stay in my tent?
No, only the number of people you have booked for can stay in your accommodation.
Will our event tickets be included in the price of the accommodation?
No, festival tickets are not included in your accommodation booking. You must purchase a Premium Camping ticket for each member of your group from The Long Road website.
Will there be security?
Hotel Bell Tent will be located in the Boutique Campsite. There will be security at the entrance allowing only wrist banded guests into the campsite. As always, Hotel Bell Tent cannot be held liable for lost or stolen items. We advise all guests against bringing unnecessary valuable items to the event and having handbags or purses on visual display in their accommodation.
Will there be food and drinks available?
There will be food and drink sold in the festival arena.
Will there be electricity in my accommodation?
Not as standard, you can add power to your package for an additional cost of £95 when making your booking.
What essential items should I bring?
We highly recommend you bring a torch, lots of layers for when the sun goes down, plenty of warm bedding (if this is not included within the package you have booked) and cosy pyjamas. Bringing an extra blanket is always a good idea just in case the night times are a little cooler.
What about toilets and showers?
All guests will have access to exclusive luxury toilets and showers within the Hotel Bell Tent area.
Can I bring alcohol?
Please refer to the festival website for information on personal food and drink allowances.
Can I use a BBQ?
Please refer to the festival website for information regarding the use of camping stoves and BBQs. Please note Hotel Bell Tent does not permit naked flames (camping stoves, candles etc.) inside any accommodation option.
What about the environment?
At Hotel Bell Tent we respect the environment and try our hardest to look after all the beautiful spaces in which we set up camp. We welcome all guests' help in keeping our area clean and tidy, separating waste out into the correct bin bags for recycling, and assisting us in leaving no trace.
What will Hotel Bell Tent be doing to ensure they are Covid-19 compliant?
Hotel Bell Tent will be working closely with The Long Road to ensure all camps are set up and run according to any good practice government guidelines published at the time for large events.
